The Acoustic Louvers represent a sound attenuator having a limited width and a limited acoustic attenuation.

Acoustic Louvers

Acoustic screens decrease the airborne noise transmitted from the source to the receiver.
The attenuation achieved by acoustic screens is related to their size, type, and relative location to the source and the receiver.

Our noise barriers are designed to reduce noise emissions from equipment located indoors, outdoors, roadways, industrials, and construction sites in all kinds of environments. Our industrial-grade metal noise barriers are custom-designed, free-standing single wall or two- to four-sided structures. Our metal acoustical barriers are made from a combination of environmentally friendly sound-absorbing and sound-blocking materials.

Acoustic Screens

The floating floor is usually a reinforced concrete slab, laid on vibration isolators to provide high impact sound insulation.
The best way to reduce the transmission of structure borne noise is by decoupling one structure from another; any discontinuity will help interrupt the transmission path. A decoupled “room-within-a-room” construction technique is often used to minimize the problem of structure borne noise. The design begins with floating floors, upon which are built floating walls and floating ceilings, all decoupled from the potentially vibrating structural room construction. A floating floor consists of an additional floor raised and decoupled from the structural floor. The floating floor may be built of wood or concrete. In either case, it is isolated from the structural floor by using vibration isolators.

The transmission of vibratory motions from one structure to another may be reduced by interposing a flexible isolating element between the two structures. It could be vibration mats, elastomer and spring isolators for example. 

Anti-vibration system

When high sound attenuation is required, the mechanical equipment shall be provided with an acoustic enclosure.
The inside surface is lined with absorptive material such as mineral wool to limit the sound reverberation in the enclosure.
Reduction of up to 30dB or more can be achieved with a careful design. All kinds of pipes and ducts penetrations through the acoustic enclosure should have a clearance hole surrounded by mineral wool and covered by a plate and sealant.

Acoustic Enclosure

The sound attenuators have become the most common airborne sound control item used for the treatment of air distribution networks.

Sound attenuators (or silencers) are used in HVAC systems to help absorb noise that is generated by fans, air moving equipment, generator room or any other industrial application Attenuators can also be used to prevent cross-over noise between rooms, such as conference rooms or adjacent offices. The Sound Attenuators are designed and engineered to achieve maximum insertion loss with minimum pressure drop.
The rectangular sound absorber has a rectangular metallic casing with parallel splitters called acoustic baffles; the baffles thickness, d, the baffles length, l, and the airway width, e, are the main parameters to determine the acoustic attenuation at each frequency, called "Insertion Loss". We also manufacture circular sound attenuators, and many types of customized silencers such as ventilation silencers, industrial silencers, and chillers silencers.



Sound Attenuators

An acoustical door is a solid door with gasketing along the top and sides, and usually an automatic door bottom, designed to reduce the noise transmission.
We offer a wide range of acoustic doors designed and manufactured by us  that meet all market requirements. These are accredited, high-performance, quality, robust doors with exceptional high acoustic insulation with a standard models and special requirements with a wide range of accessories. It can be installed in rehearsal chambers or rooms, radio stations, recording and dubbing studios, post production, home cinemas, TV sets, rehearsal locations, music schools, generator room. In general, anywhere that requires maximum soundproofing.

Acoustical Door

To treat the room acoustics of a hall, sound-absorbing materials should be fixed on the ceiling, walls, and/or floors.
In a Lecture hall, we have to more direct and reflect sound waves from the lecturer to the listener. Therefore, stepped rows of seats are recommended, in addition to the installation of acoustic reflectors, fixed above and beside the lecturer. The absorbent materials shall be located at the backside of the walls and ceiling.
In a gymnasium, acoustic treatment shall be applied to the ceiling and if necessary to the upper side of the walls.
Sound absorbing materials shall also be used in workshops and technical rooms where the noise levels exceed 85dBA.

Room Acoustics

To avoid the structural borne sound transmission from the water treatment system to the surrounding occupied areas, the swimming pools should be provided with a complete floating floor system.

Floating Swimming Pool

The box-in-the-box concept is based on the complete decoupling of the floor, walls, and the ceiling from the building structure to achieve the maximum isolation from the surrounding. In such systems, all the noises coming from the structure borne transmission are eliminated and the airborne noise transmission is reduced considerably.
Testing rooms, such as Audiometric Cabins where hearing tests are performed, could require a box-in-the-box system.
Generator rooms are also problematic in buildings and require most of the time this system.

Box-In-The Box

The noise barriers are frequently used to reduce the traffic noise, protecting the nearby constructions. By interposing a sound barrier between the building and the roadway, the propagation of the sound will be changed by reflection, absorption, transmission and diffraction.
